The Sheraton New Orleans is the site of the 2008 Continuity Insights Management Conference. Continuity Insights has reserved rooms at the Sheraton at a special rate of $199.00 per night single occupancy, plus 13 percent tax, and a $3.00 occupancy charge per room per night. The cutoff date for this special rate is April 4, 2008, after which rooms at this rate will be subject to availability.
Contact the Sheraton at (888) 627-7033 for reservations. Ask for the Continuity Insights group rate. The Sheraton New Orleans does require a first night's pre-paid deposit on all rooms. Remaining hotel accommodations and incidental charges are the responsibility of the attendee and are to be paid upon your departure. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

Ground Transportation
Taxicabs: A cab ride costs $28 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) for one or two persons and $12 (per passenger) for three or more passengers (prices at press time). Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. Rates subject to change without notice.
Airport Shuttle
Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotels in the CBD for $13 (per person, one-way), $26 (per person, round-trip), or $24 (per person, round-trip for two or more people when purchased at the airport) (prices at press time). Three bags per person. Call (866) 596-2699 or (504) 522-3500 for more details or to make a reservation. Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for all ADA accessible transfers. Please call well enough in advance for the specially-equipped shuttle to be reserved. For group reservations of 10 or more people please dial (888) 432-7651.
