Submit an Article

Writing for Continuity Insights is easy.  Really.  Don’t be intimidated by those bulleted lists below.  In fact, if you don’t want to, don’t even read them.  Just call Buffy Rojas at (610) 792-4802 or send her an email at buffy@continuityinsights.com.  Tell her your idea and she’ll let you know what to do from there. But if you really want the nitty gritty, read on.

Editorial Submission Guidelines
Articles should not include commercial promotional elements.
  • Word count can be anywhere from 750 to 3,500 words in length (including biography and contact information), depending on the type of article (for example, guest editorials will be shorter than feature articles).  Please send the article in a Word document in 12-point text and with no fancy formatting. Pictures and graphics are encouraged and should be e-mailed as separate attachments or sent on disk (see image submission guidelines below). Submissions should be e-mailed to buffy@continuityinsights.com.
  • Submissions will be reviewed by the editor prior to acceptance for publication.
  • All submissions are subject to editing for style, format, clarity, and length.
  • All published material becomes copyright protected; therefore, you must obtain permission from the publisher for any reprints.
Article Process
  1. Article idea is submitted by interested party (via outline or brief abstract) and reviewed, or author and editor discuss topic possibilities.  
  2. Once idea is finalized, the final submission deadline is given. 
  3. Rough draft is submitted when available. 
  4. Submission is reviewed by the editor.
  5. Final draft is submitted with any images and captions by targeted deadline. 
  6. Once approved, any final editing is done by the editor. 
 
Image Submissions Guidelines
To submit images for print, please be sure your image meets the following requirements:
  • Resolution must be 300 dpi or greater
  • Format must be, tiff, eps, pdf or jpeg
  • Size of images must be at least 2"
  • Also remember to include captions for each image and the appropriate photo credit
