The May/June issue of Continuity Insights marks the start of a new era for the magazine, with a number of new names appearing on the masthead.


My name is Luke Simpson and I’ve taken over as the magazine’s editor. After eight years in the publishing industry, I’m more excited than ever to be stepping into this role and taking the helm of a property that has proudly provided its readership with the most up-to-date and vitally important business continuity news and trends for nearly 10 years. But as those in this marketplace know all too well, with time comes change. So as you look through future offerings from CI, you will notice a slightly altered approach.


Going forward, you’ll see more best practices-type profiles, spotlighting businesses that have implemented unique approaches to achieve business continuity goals. If you think your company has a story to tell, get in touch with me—I’d love to get your perspective.


You will also notice some changes to the structure of our print and electronic offerings as we work to bring you in-depth coverage of the factors influencing our marketplace from your peers, leading suppliers and consultants, as well as the most current industry news. This not only means fresher content, but also more of it.


We will also use social media to facilitate discussion. A number of you already use our CI group page on LinkedIn; we will continue to discuss upcoming events and receive feedback using this page. We have also created a Twitter account to broadcast real-time industry news and updates. You can find us at twitter.com/ContinuityMag.


Finally, I encourage readers and marketers alike to note my contact information. Feel free to include me on distribution lists relating to industry news, conferences or any additional pertinent information.
