TAMP Systems Introduces its New Disaster Response & Recovery Module
Thu, 09/23/2010 - 8:00pm

TAMP Systems (Merrick, NY), a provider of consulting and software for disaster recovery and business continuity planning, unveiled its new Recovery and Response module for its Web-based DRS-i Business Continuity Management (BCM) software at the recent Disaster Recovery Journal show in San Diego, CA.

The new DRS-i module contains a powerful combination of incident management capabilities, enabling companies to respond and recover quicker and more efficiently from a crisis situation. It includes online collaboration tools, an automated e-mail notification system, and a forum for incident management mitigation. It also interfaces with the TAMP Essential Notification System (ENS), which is an automated voice notification system.

“While solid business continuity or disaster recovery planning provides a foundation for recovery from a crisis or disaster situation, adherence to a plan during and after the incident is equally important to a positive outcome,” said TAMP President & CEO, Tom Abruzzo. “We are excited to be bringing to market a powerful, yet easy-to-use solution that enables companies to have all of their crisis planning, management, response and recovery tools right at their fingertips.”

TAMP Systems’ DRS-i software enables companies to create plans using best-practice templates and content, keep plans up-to-date, and manage BCM data online. It is available as either Software as a Service (SaaS) or as a client-hosted solution.

TAMP Systems offers a full suite of products and services designed for companies who need audit-proof business continuity planning and management solutions based upon best practices, which can be implemented and maintained quickly, easily and cost-effectively.
