PlantCML selected by Cornerstone Mortgage Company to provide emergency notification solutions
PlantCML, an EADS North America company, announced it will provide two notification solutions for business continuity communications to Cornerstone Mortgage Company.
PlantCML, an EADS North America company, (Franklin, Tenn.) has been selected by Texas-based Cornerstone Mortgage Company to provide two notification solutions for business continuity communications: The Communicator! NXT solution, for automated notification via channels such as landline, cell, SMS, and e-mail; and the NetNotify solution for urgent and daily notifications on PCs, laptops and other networked devices.

The hosted, web-based application gathers important feedback, such as responder ETA, allowing organizations like Cornerstone to mobilize much-needed personnel within a matter of minutes. The Communicator! NXT solution also features full conference bridge transfer capabilities, high-volume SMS (text) messaging and an XML API (Application Programming Interface), enabling hassle-free integration with other software and databases such as those used by human resources.
Cornerstone plans to use the system to notify employees of branch closings, inclement weather such as hurricanes, and to activate their business continuity team during a business-impacting scenario. “By eliminating our legacy call-trees and trying to sort out who is and isn’t available and safe during a scenario, we will be able to provide executive management with up-to-date and useful data as they decide how to respond in the manner that best suits our employees and our customers,” added William Gemza, IT director for Cornerstone Mortgage Company.
In addition to The Communicator! NXT solution, Cornerstone will rely on PlantCML’s NetNotify application for urgent and daily communications, such as the distribution of important legal and other industry-related changes to employees. Company management also is considering the solution for the execution of marketing campaigns to help promote Cornerstone’s customer-entrenched home-financing services.
With its ability to instantly disseminate upwards of 50,000 audible and visible notifications to connected workstations, the NetNotify solution drives secure and media-rich unified messaging across entire IP networks. Depending on the situation, these messages may include video, images, text, Adobe Flash files and other content. They also may be distributed to fully integrated outlets such as speaker systems, video surveillance, telephone systems (PBXs) and BlackBerry smartphones, further expanding Cornerstone’s crisis communications efforts.
