In May of 2010, Convergys Corporation, a global leader in customer management services and solutions, lost a call center as a result of the record flooding in the Tennessee Valley. Over the next 60 days, service operations in Clarksville, TN were fully recovered, putting over 700 employees back to work.

In order to overcome the numerous challenges associated with the recovery, Convergys employed workload transition, work-at-home implementation, mobile work-area-recovery, alternate site identification and build-out, and satellite connectivity. Additionally, a tiered incident command team was used to assess the impacts of the flooding and administer the solutions. Through all of this, Convergys was able to continue to provide services to their client with negligible impact.

This free webinar offers attendees an in-depth review of a successful site recovery and demonstrates the value of effective business continuity planning.
